In the August of 1998, I drove a few items that I could fit in my truck out to Boston. I had no job and no place to live.
My first task was to find a place to stay. I looked all around the Boston area, but quickly fell in love with the Beacon Hill area.
It was pricey, but if I am going to 'experience' Boston, it was an excellent start point.
Being the middle of the month, there was not very many options to find places.
So instead, I found me a temporary furnished place until the end of the month. During this time I found some work at Bank Boston and a 'permanent' place down the street. (pictures and story coming...) |
